Sunfire ABS

Hey, my roomate has a 2000 pontiac sunfire, and the ABS light keeps coming on. She will just be driving along, and the light will just come on for no apparent reason. The ABS will still work fine, and theres lots of brake fluid, so why is it?

Could be a sensor, could be the hydraulic unit is failing, the abs computer may be on the craps...where were the brakes serviced last? Was it recently? Does the light just come on or does it flash in a sequence?

i guess she's getting a mechanic to check it out tomorrow. it just comes on, no flashing, and she has never had it serviced.
