It was finally sunny and half-way decent weather today and I was bored at work, so I decided to take pictures while I was working.

But first, here is just a few random pics I took at my buddies house.

I finally decided to polish the mufflers and this is the best they can look:

A couple of my good buddies (the S14 is Dan - 240sx2nr95)

If anybody can guess what this sticker is copying from, you get a cookie.

Now to the airport pics, I was getting paid while I was taking this pics.

First, lets show off the headlights for a little bit, as you can see, the front-end of my Z is definitely showings its age (155k miles):

And now for a few pics of my Z just checking out the airfield:

And now my favorite part of the whoring:

Nice pics! I especially like the ones inside the hanger!

What exactly is paint matched on the headlights? I still see the black trim around them.

The inside of the headlight is painted the color of my Z. They come black as stock.

LOL thanks! Um, well, my job is to move around airplanes and fuel them, it is just a part-time job for me for when I am in school. Believe me, you do not want to get into the aviation business.

BTW, the color of my Z is Sapphire Blue.

Whats so bad with the aviation business I am waiter at red lobster and you dont wanna get into the having people treat you like a slave for 45 minutes eating a 80 dollar lobster drinking 4 sweet tea's and tipping you a buck for your troubles. Rant rant rant

I go to school full time and work 30 hours a week so i understand your pain

your Z is flawless

I want to repaint mine back to how it looked once it came off the show room floor. Where would i find out my stock color i think 300 came out with a couple blacks but mine has a hint of graphite.

Car looks good man!

I don't really care for the headlights though. I think they look much much better black.

I got my taillights from UltimateZ, although you can get them from almost any Z vendor.

But technically, all Z cars are Fairlady Z's, Z's outside of Japan were just given a different name.

But, technically, weren't Fairladys all right-hand-drive? No, wait. I can't remember the model name that was used for the European market... All seriousness aside, wouldn't a Fairlady have different specifications than a 300ZX?

All Z's in Europe were called 300ZX. And no, a 300ZX is a Fairlady, a Fairlady is a Z.

Little bit of history: The reason the Fairlady Z name was not brought overseas was because Nissan thought the US market would not like the name Fairlady because it sounded to girly, so they changed it to 240Z.

You can find stock paint colors here: http://www.automotivetouchup.com. I just bought some for my "new" Z!!! You can find your paint code in the driver side door jam. Mine is TH1 B. "Midnight Blue."
