are sun visors from a vert different than the ones from in the regular 240sx? I know the rear view mirror is different.

Anyone know where to find some black ones in good shape?

good luck. all 240s I've seen have vinyl visors. Only the verts seemed to have gotten cloth visors.

I need to find a new passenger one, but What I'm thinking of doing is just removing the mirror and reupholstering it.

my only issue with the visors is that if the vert is being used properly, the exposed parts of the visors will bleach and get wind torn

Mine were sun-rotted and torn, so I went to the junkyard and pulled a set of grey vinyl ones out of a hatch. I cleaned them with soapy water and dried them, wiped them down with alcohol to make sure there wasnt any soap or Armor-All or anything like that on them, taped off the mirror under the flap with masking tape, and sprayed them with black Fabricolor (the carpet dye in a spray can, you can get it anywhere). As soon as they dried (overnight) I buffed them with a cloth and just a tiny bit of Armor All to get a consistent sheen, and bolted them on. Looks brand new, even after a year. Any overspray or seepage on the mirror can be removed with a razor blade.
