I'm not sure if Nissan has changed their sun visors in the 2011 Rogue, but mine are terrible. They are too short, rendering them almost useless. They don't have extenders in the middle that pull out like my Murano has, nor do they pull or slide out for additional coverage.

I just started a new shift at work so I'm driving home at a different time. The sun is on my left side and my sun visor is 3 inches too short of blocking the sun from my eyes.

I just purchased a visor extender and hope it works and arrives SOON. http://www.visormates.com/

Yea, I'm not too thrilled with sun visors either, both the size and the material. I'm actually wondering if the visors from an Infiniti G will swap into the Rogue. They're covered in a material that matches the headliner in color, they have the extension and since they're Nissan, I'm hoping the electronics for the lighted mirror would match up...

The 2011 model is no different from any other model year. None of them have any sort of extender, etc.

There are many other Nissan models that lack any sort of visor extenders, not just the Rogue.

I know it can be difficult to understand for many, but every little feature, regardless of how insignificant has an impact on the cost of a vehicle. It's a constant battle between the bean counters, the designers, and the engineers. At some point, they have to meet in the middle and produce a vehicle that will sell but more importantly make a profit.

I don't mind if they save money by not having the extenders built in, however I've seen sun visors that are able to slide a little on the rod that holds them. I doubt that would cost extra.

I actually thought the Rogues would slide out a little bit, but I yanked and tugged and it never moved.

There is a minor difference between the 2008 and 2011, not sure which year it changed.

The '08 has a small plastic strip across the corner of the visor that you can tuck a receipt or toll ticket into, the '11 does not.

I didn't notice it until I went to tuck toll money into it and it's not there on my new one.

:wtf2:
As a new Rogue owner, I'm shocked at the lack of options for visor extensions. I love the car, its gas mileage and creature comforts - other than the visors.

Has anyone found a viable solution to this? Any aftermarket or alternate models that will fit the Rogue? Heck, at this point I'm seriously tempted to get custom visors made.

Cheers!

Like I said above, I bought the sunvisor extenders at: http://www.visormates.com
Of course they are not fancy like a "built in" extender, but they work and are affordable.
They do match the interior color, so they're not ugly. :woot:

Does anyone know if the '11 Murano Sun Visors will fit as replacements for the ones in the '11 Rogue? The Murano has the extenders.

Can I install a passenger sun visor with the light on a 09 Rogue that does not have the light already. I am wondering when I take mine off if there is a wire there already to connect it to?
