honestly, in my opinion, i would leave it with out...1-weight reduction2-i rather spend the money on other things i.e. suspension3-if installation is incorrect might cause leaks....i hate mines>=(

but than again, it is your car, if you like one than go for it.

Previous owner of my s13 did exactly this.. it's terrible and I really wish I could just go back in time and punch them in the face for considering it. Lots of leaks, the whole roof is flimsy (they literally just a cut a hole in the roof and siliconed in a sunroof), and they weren't able to get the latch to work. Latch ended up busted, I can't find a replacement (not sure where to even start looking for third party sunroof latch parts - I checked out junkyard and couldn't find ANY car - 240sx or otherwise - that had a similar latch), and so now it's literally all just siliconed in place with no pressure holding the glass in the frame aside from its weight and the adhesive.. Popping it out and re-doing the silicone helps for a few months but temperature changes/body torsion/people bumping their heads on it from the inside always makes it leak water again.

so yeah.. wouldn't recommend it
