I am planning on buying an LE and even though I am not crazy about the sunroof, they all come with it...seen that there are apparently 2 sunroofs, do they open independtly or individually or do they open at all?.....or the function is limited to the interior shades alone?....I wish that the sunroof was an option on the LE...oh well...thanks for any replies..

Look in the service manual: http://nicoclub.com/FSM or the owners manual of the car.

The short answer is that the back sunroof does not open. 1st position on the switch opens the shade on both moonroofs, second position opens the front moonroof.

We like the moonroofs. Especially neat if in the big city (San Francisco for us) to get a view of the skyscrapers, or driving through the mountains.

Besides, all the classy luxury brands have them. Just pretend you are important! Practice your regal wave to the cheering masses when you open your moonroof... :-)

when you live in the 'burbs' where building heights are limited to 3 stories, the 30/40 story buildings of San Francisco count as skyscrapers to us.

Nancy IS staying out of San Francisco. Unfortunately that means she is in DC screwing up the whole country... (we do have some moderates on the left coast, but we have to stay well hidden. Don't tell anyone...)

LOL...you are right about the buildings....and I am very surprise that someone from San Fran would think about Nacy the way you do.....NOT ALL is lost for San Francisco people or the rest of us in America....pleasure exchanging words and thoughts with you are a good sport....
