summer school!!??

ok guys, i failed last semester of math, therefore need a C to pass this semester, however my grade as of now is a D, i wont have enough time or brains to bring it up to a C, should i just go to summerschool, or retake it next year, i dont want to jump into more math next year and not know the crap i need to from tihs class, so what do u think, cause if i go i have to register for summerschool by june 2, so im in a bit of a pickle here, and ive never been bad at math, always an honors student, easily pulling off Bs and the occasional C, so i dunno, i just feel stupid now, and it dont feel to good either

Can you pull off a c? have you asked your teacher? how much time you got left? Because if not it seems you have no choice, summerschool isn't too bad and you'll always get a better grade in it.

Yeah I screwed arround my JR. year and had to take 2 English clases my Senior year.Sucked real bad.Summer School...and try to get an A.

yea well, a lot of people are failing math this year, and most are taking it again next year, as technically we are a 'year ahead', so im going to go to summerschool and get it out of hte way, i figure ill have no life tho, because i wnat to get shcool from 7-9 and then work from 9-6 and then head toward the shop if i can

now that i thin of it its is quite contradicting, huh.. but yeah if you were from my area you could just date the teacher and run away to Vegas as this has happend in my school with my friend, this has happend more than once in my school but i digress.. yeah Sumer school blows our classes are like 4hrs long 4 days a week.. so if your's isnt as bad seeing as how i think your in college, i say summer school..

yea, my teacher is hidious anyway, but it was an idea none the less, and how did u know i was 16?, anyway, yea i found out if i bring up my homework slightly and make like a damn 85 or higher on my exam, ill be ok, but considering ive only passed one test this entire semester, and that wasa D, i dont think its gonna happen

yea, this is the first time ive ever even had to consider summerschool, my lowest grade till now was a C, even with my F, i still have a 3.533 gpa, so im not doing that badly, i just dont wanna go to summerschool, but dont wanna take it next year, im going to go to my grandfather (genuis!!) to help study for finals, hopefully he can help me out, i will cry tears of joy if i dont have to go to summerschool

i'm out of school now wednesday was my last day. my math final was 100 questions long, my history was 80and my english was 235 questions long plus a 10 paragraph essay.so i ma hoping i passed!! i wish you luck man!!

thanks man, ill def need it, i had a test today, and i know EVERYTIHNG individually, but are tests are so long (6pages ish) that i forget some of hte crap we did in the beggining of hte unit!!, so needless to say, i failed the **** outa that one, but ill do better in summerschool, itll be my only subject, and i can focus on it alone

don't worry I know how garbage our education system is. Teacher prolly didnt teach. My comp science teacher was like that had to teach myself c++ O_o

and yeah ive known guys (im a grtaduating senior

) who have slept with teachers for better grades.

noooo, New orleans pub school system is garbage, i'm sure all around LA is much better

If you have a 3.5 you shouldn't be failing math, unless you're just bad at it.. find a tutor?

yea our system isnt great, i go to riverdale highschool, its not a bad school actually, and until now ive made great grades, but my gpa is a 3.533 on my last transcript, and i made an F last 9weeks and im probably going to pull off a D this time, but we're on a block schedule (4lcasses a day) so our teachers have to cram so much crap into so lil time, individually i know ALL of it, but when we have a test that covers everytihng from the last 2 weeks (and we'learn' new stuff EVERYDAY) i just cant remember how to do ALL of it RITE THEN

ah I know where riverdale is. your schedule sounds alot like mine (De La Salle) I Had the same problem with my exams right before christmas. I'm sure you'll find someway to get out of it.

yea ive heard about de la salle, although ive never been, and our exams this time is on friday and monday!! wtf!! i hate that, and ive pretty muched faced that im going to summerschool, so im just gonna have to get through it

our system plain out sucks2. my teacher gave me a 70 on a test that i didn't get finsih before exams started so i passed mtah with a 72!!!! ihavve to take 2 englishes and 2maths plus an history and i am still gonna be three creidts short of graduating. but see there is a school that offers make up courses for 45 dollars so i might do that. that way plans fo me moving to alabama or kentucky won't get screwed up.and i can get the hell outta here. i will most likely move back but thats when i go to get married and have kids i want them raised here cuz everyone knows me where i live because my dad is a well know person. but right now i juts need to get away.
