Hey everyone,

We're looking forward to what is going to be a big meet in Indy during the first part of June. The exact date is TBD, but as jEzTeR pointed out in the other thread we will have a date set within the next week as well as a location. Cold_Zero, Simmsled and myself will find reasonably priced lodging, post-racing entertainment and some other fun stuff.

The meets are not about the planners however, they're about the members and friends of members that take the time and effort to show up. We have several things in mind for the next meet, but we are very much open to any suggestions that you all may have. So if there is an activity or some other idea that you guys have, post it and we will see about incorporating it into the meet.

As hinted to in the first paragraph, we are working on arranging some form of racing. The roadcourses here will probably be too expensive to set up and already booked. We have tentatively planned an autocross/SCCA seminar for the event, but the details of that have yet to be ironed out.

Stay tuned for further info and post any ideas you've got. And get ready, because NICO is going to rock Indy in June! :ylsuper

just a point I'd like to make, can we have the meet the first weekend after memorial day weekend so I can make a week out of it and not have to make 2 trips? hehe (yes I know I'm lazy) otherwise I'll work somthing out.

later,

Paul

The 31st of May? You're going to be in town all that week? I don't see why not. Two trips from Florida that close together would suck.

Anyone opposed to May 31st?

I saw "Rex" (my handle) mentioned above, but I don't think I was the so named. I'm in the Cincy area and would try to make it, depending on where the kids are that weekend?

I would suggest (unless I'm a lone hacker) is there a little scramble that could be put together for either the Friday before or something. I wouldn't think it should a big time consumption, but I'm always up for a round on a course I've never played before.

If not there's always Golden Tee. :)

I could put a little something together for us hackers at a course that goes by the name "Purgatory" here. It's just as the name implies. Been a while since I've hit the links.

Because us Indiana people are cool, Ohio people sleep with sheep.

And what's the matter with basketball? Havn't you seen the movie 'hoosiers'? Besides I've never been cow tipping in my life, we had guns to keep us busy back in highschool. (and cars)

hehe

I use to play basketball back in 6th grade. Its fun especially in highschool when we played "no rules" basketball and ganged up on one girl and had her in the floor beating her up. Coach called break and we took time out.

I'm hoping I can make it to that meet but all depends on the other one if he really wants to go. ;) But if I dont go I'll get another chance at another meet later on.

Yeah, the "Rex" we were referring to is the site owner. His s/n on here is speeddoctor. We're trying to make the date for whenever he can make it up to Indy, so he can bring his R33 :)

Yay! Another meet, and this time I will be able to make it as I will have my S14 this month! I would like to go golfing even though I haven't in a long while, and if worse comes to worse we can always just look at a thing in a bag.
