Anyone else sharing my pain of sitting in a classroom for 3 hours a day, 4 days a week, for the next 3 weeks?

On the other hand I do get some amusing quotes from my teacher. This one is from yesterday. "Has anyone seen a bag with a pair of my socks in it? My feet are cold and I need to put them on before I get a stomach ache."

I should make a thread each week of "Interesting Quotes" from my instructor. Instructors say the darnedest things...

I was going to take summer classes then I found out I was maxed out for the year on loans that I could request. So I have to settle for a summer off from school. Which is a good thing cause I was about to kill someone. I need a vacation.

My EMT classes will likely be over this summer, or possibly fall. But I'd prefer summer.

There's a summer-only debate "issues in mass media" class I signed up for, then un-signed-up for. Basically, you show up 2 hours a day, 4 days a week. Three days are spent discussing and gathering research, and on day four you debate.

I would have rocked the house, but I was planning on working this summer. As vacation plans approach, work and school both seem unlikely.

Last time I took a summer class was driver's ed in 1997. Wow, I'm freaking old.

I think summer classes are nice because there's no punk kids on their way to highschool that I have to contend with in the morning and most people are at DE's beaches--including the old people.

there arent all that many people at school either, and im a fan of small classes

the real reason though is im in a 12 semester major, and im trying to be in school less than 6 years

I'm going a six-year version of a four-year plan. Or is that seven year version? Tack on another two years for MBA. I'll be done with school by 27?

Hooray for 128 credit hour BA programs I am on the seven year, five month version of the four year degree. At this rate you think they would bump my degree up to a masters just for sheer determination. If I would have been done in four years they would have gotten less money out of me, I look at it as doing them a favor.

commercial aviation and air traffic control

the 2nd major only tacks on 24 credits, thats why im sticking with it, in the end just 1 major would still be a 152 credit major, the extra 24 is worth it for the 2nd major

I just work during the summer. But THIS time I have my money sent Str8 to my new bank account so that my parents don't get their hands on my cheque. September will be car buying time

Taking calc and trying to get chem. I'm going for a second degree and then masters after that. It feels like I'll be 30 before I get anywhere.

Working + no help from mom = I hear ya.

Seriously though 4K is enough to get me an R33 GTS-25T type M (without customs) R33 + shipping and insurance=$3,991.01. customs would be 52% of that.S14 + shipping & insurance = $5,400

So it's slightly (<- understatement) more to get a Silvia K's....for now. I might just keep searching for a better deal or Mums might have to learn how to park her jeep closer to the wall

OH....and the Skyline price is negotiable. tha $3,9hundred is just their baseline price.

Am I stupid for trying to hold out for a silvia?????

On the site I'm on the R32's are the same price because they're all modified, but they have rust . and an R34 would cost more in the ballpark of $8K and up....turbo or non turbo... money I won't have anytime soon. Unless I can win a certain game.....

Oh....an r32 GTR.....mmmmthat's like 5 thousand for the car by itself. so add on shipping insurance and customs and I'm plum outta luck. lol

...and with the yen getting stronger against the dollarrrr.....

Same here. I never liked the R33 much in pictures, and actually liked it even less once I saw one in person.

I don't like the R33's looks out of the 3, but in the right color with the right bodykit it can work.

I could always get an R32 GTS-T and do an R34 conversion like tha japanese guy who was gonna enter the D1 (in japan)http://videos.streetfire.net/v...1.htmbut I don't wanna RB20...

and if the Skyline's cheaper....well...

Indeed! This is Others, we don't talk about cars here!
