I'm going to need some new tires for my Z32 probably this summer. I was originally going to go with Yokohama AVS ES100's but one of our suppliers has a huge hook up on Sumitomo tires and it turns out I can get the the HTR Z III's for a song. I'm looking at 245/40/17's for the front and 285/35/18's for the rear and the pricing is around 400 for the full set.

Here's a pic for reference of the tire

Here's a link to the TireRack info on themhttp://www.tirerack.com/tires/...Z+III

Also, on their site, they are rated higher than the RE050's, Advan Sports, and some Conti's.http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...id=93

My biggest concern is that they're a 300 tread wear tire and I think they may be to hard for my needs. Anyone here have any first hand experience with them? From what I read they seem to be great for the money. I did some searching and feedback on the III's is limited as they recently replaced the II's.

Thanks in advance.

I had a set of HTR 2's they are a good all weather tire, the Z's are supposed to be a bit stickier with more sidewall but no where near the dry traction of the azeni or REO-1's but far better wet traction
