also when I was installing my AC system, my bf tighten the bolt on the IIA too much and broke one of the bolts. is there somewhere I can pick up another bolt and gasket? I know the 2 in there are holding it in place but if IM taking it off I would like it on with all 3. less there is a way to take out the fuel rail w/o removing the IIA in which case that makes my life easier.
along with the IIA bolt if Im removing the unit is there a replacement gasket I can get at autozone/advance/pep boys? napa is a drive but I can do it If the have it too.....
lastly I have oil, I have the (skyline injectors) 444 injectors I will be swapping in, si there anything else special I need(will the stock rings need replacing more than likely?).
as with anything I do I assume I will be making 1/2 a douzen trips to the auto parts stores and would like to avoid it so if ther is anything else Im forgetting or anything to make my life easier please let me know.
PS got my ECU chipped at jestr tuning as C-rad recommended them. very cool guys and if it turns out good I will very very satisfied with their work and help.
You release fuel pressure by going to the fuse box and removing the fuel pump fuse. Then hop in the driver's seat and try to start the car(it may actually fire up). Let it crank for a little bit (3 or 4 cranks is okay), or if it fires up, let it die. Then your fuel pressure should be gone.
As far as the gasket goes, you can get one for an '89 pulsar NX. Both pieces fit, I've replaced them a few times before.
