Hey guys, so I will be getting my windows tinted pretty soon here. Just wondering what I should get for % tinting. I was thinking either 5% or 15%. I have a Silver 3.5, any suggestions on what I should do?

Only the back 3 windows are getting tinted, I don't feel like a ticket for illegal tinting.

If it's just the 3 back windows, it's not gonna matter that much. I say go with the darkest tint.

I'm not the biggest fan of doing a super dark tint on the back 3 windows, if you don't tint the driver/passenger ones. It just looks silly to me for such a stark contrast between them. So I would maybe say a 35 on the rear wing windows - maybe a 10 on the back

I'm personally goin 42 all the way around - because that's the darkest I can have on the driver/passenger windows

id say get 15 on the back 3 windows then get what ever the law maximum is on driver's side and passenger's side. i have 15 all around. never had any problems. ive had it for a little over a year. but it all depends on the state.

good luck with your decision.

i went with 20% on the back and 35% on the rear 2 and didn't tint my fronts. i thought it blends it well, i think it looks weird if you have the rear corners really dark with untinted front windows, but you don't want your rear window too light either

5% is wicked dark. Had it on the Coupe and had to have it removed because of a ticket. IMO the 5% on the coupe makes the rear window difficult to see out of because of the angle.

I don't really know our laws around here, but I've had 5% on everything but the windshield since I bought the car in jan. 08. and i've had no probs. I had a cop make a comment on them "looking dark" but never pulled over specificly because of my tint.

In Canada, passenger and driver side tinting is illegal. Especially in Saskatchewan. I have had some of my friends get $90 tickets for it. So I am not going to be tinting those side windows. I think I might just go 15% then so I can actually see out of them at night. But I would love to be able to get my other windows tinted believe me. So the back 3 tinted at 15%, no tint on the front ones, Silver coupe. Anyone have any objections?

Dam, lol super high shipping and no front tint? Anyway 15% sounds good even 10% wouldn't be that bad, black windows on a silver car is SWEET!
