I didn't post before due to the fact that I wasn't sure if you were looking for suggestions, offering them, or both.
Those are probably some good temporary fixes. But the long term solution would be to pull the seats and lay fresh padding & carpet.(Padding optional for you weight reduction nuts)
As for the dash, a good industrial grade adhesive would fix the "lip" from popping up.
If the dash has "loose" spots on broad sections, then either another dash or having a shop refinish the dash would be good solutions.
You could refinish the dash yourself, but getting a single sheet of vinyl/leather to conform uniformly to so many changes in contour, (shape), is a PITA.
