This one:

Anyways, the only diff I could think of for around $400 would be a VLSD. Those can actually be found for around $200. The clutch types go for around $600 USED so I highly doubt you'll be able to find one that cheap unless you've got some good connections. And there's always a welded diff if you're super cheap and don't care about tires, noise, etc...

Then a helical is definately is not for you. It is definately not preffered for drifting.

If you are willing to sacrafice ride quality, wants something that locks better than a vlsd, and are on a tight budget, welded is for you. You can get it for much less than $400 too.

Otherwise, I'd save up for a nice used 1.5 or 2 way.

If you're not drifting then don't get a welded. I have one and I don't mind it, but then again it's not my dd so

I hope that pic up top is a joke. Some people on here wont think and will weld their pinion to their ring gear.

Next thing you know there will be threads poping up. "I welded my diff, now car is a no go".LOL

Get a pic of welded spider gears up there.
