I was having a little trouble deciphering the flow chart on page EF & EC-52 in my Q manual. I need to check for any codes...do I start the engine, do I not start the engine? It's not too clear. After searching this forum for about 20 minutes, I found the answer in about 20 seconds on Wes's site (http://www.q45.org/techhelp.html), and in the process avoided another stupid question. Which made me wonder, why is there no link to all this info? Maybe listed under the "Tech Forums" category, or a seperate link at the top entitled "Hey newbie, check this first". Just a thought.

Anything found there can be found here with diligent searching, because Q45.org is basically a bunch of links to NICO threads. Its mostly there for quick reference, but you do make a good point.

I heard the guys who run that site are a bunch of pricks!

To be sure. However, having answers to all the basic questions listed on one reference page sure makes it a lot easier. I've had my car for over a year, and like I mentioned I didn't even know how to check the engine codes. Most people, especially new people, won't search that long or that hard. I just find it surprising that such a resource exists, but rarely do I see it mentioned.

There is an Infiniti's Articles section. If what you want isn't in there, let Wes know and he'll see if he can add it.

Thanks for the suggestion
