OK I'm deciding between the two:Gramlight 57C in 16x7 + Yokohama AVS ES 100 205-55-16FN01RC in 17x7 + Yokohama AVS ES100 205-45-17

The cost for both came out to be EXACTLY the same. at $1257 mounted, balanced, shipped, w/ rings and lugs to me.. such a hard decision...

Gramlgiht 57C:pro: cheaper tires in the future... made by Rays...con: not my fav. color choice (gold, silver, white - gunmetal costs more)

FN01RCpro: bronze color available, 17 inch diametercon: expensive tires in the future, everyone has them

BLEH...

I've been staring at the Gramlight picture... it seems the gold is a dark gold... a bit towards bronze... I dunno, I'm leaning towards the FN01RC because of the plus size and color... I'm tired of regular silver, and I am not considering putting white Gramlights on my car (red).

Cherry red 1996 S14 BTW.

215-45-17 and 205-55-16 are closer correct tire sizes, and either wheel choice is good....its personal taste and money man..-chet

they're closer to your OD< and the 215-45 or 215-40-17 are closer to the origional load index of the car..the 205-55-16 is the same(higher load rating and closer OD)...just better choices, IMO.-chet

Exar don't you work at a tire place? Since I'm always around there (Peachtree Industrial Blvd, State Bridge/Pleasanthill) I can swing by and maybe you can show me some tires etc and see if it'll save me some money. Here's my email [email protected]
