Hey everyone,
I recently replaced my 2011 m56s HPFP that was damaged as well as the camlobe, timing chain guides, and lifter bucket due to the engine ingesting pieces of the previous bucket. We followed the EM guide and ensured that the timing would not be changed when we replaced the lobe and guides, however after putting everything together and starting the car, it has a very unstable idle and the RPM drops drastically after releasing the accelerator.

We keep getting these three codes:
- P0300: Random Misfire
- P0021 & P0011: Intake valve timing control performance in both banks

Any ideas on what's causing this before I take it to a mechanic? Solenoids and cam positions sensors were not changed. Thanks for any help!

P0011 and P0021 together generally mean low/no oil pressure to the IVT Solenoids, causing the cam phasers to be unresponsive. The most likely cause is a slipped or omitted o-ring between the timing cover and the block.
