I have a buddy of mine that has a Suby STI with the stock BBS rims 5 lug 18x8 unknown offset. I was wondering if anyone knew off hand if the bolt patterns would match a 5lug conversion on a 1990 hatch, he thinks they are 5x114.5, but isn't sure.

Nissan is 5x114.3, so it won't work.

honestly, i would like to see how they look. you would need a hefty spacer to make it work, but i think it wouldnt look bad.

and it's a BBS can't go wrong.

you know what would have saved you tons of time? if you had just went to google and searched "subaru lug pattern" or something to that effect. why is the concept of personal research so lost on people these days? all the information you could ever want is out there and more accessible than ever, looking for it takes all of 1 minute.

Why is the concept of asking a question on a forum that welcomes questions so lost to you?
Did you ever take all of 1 minute to think that maybe I wanted feedback, such as s13k1d's statement on Subaru swapping bolt patterns after 2005? What about Badbob2121's comment on going with 002's? Believe it or not, there are somethings Wikipedia and Google can't answer in the same simplicity as asking a forum where the info is constantly updated and there are actually people online answering your questions, and not from some guy that made a comment on it back in 2003... Thanks for your time, if you don't like how I use the internet then you can always click the back button.

Haha thanks, that's what I was kinda leaning towards.

04 is the only STi with 5x100. All other usdm STi's are 5x114.3.

They are high offset. Nico will not be happy with the sunken battleship

you asked if it the wheels would work with the nissan 5-lug pattern. a google search would have answered that for you. you didn't ask for suggestions on other wheels.

we welcome questions, but not questions that can easily be answered through your own research. those are redundant, and suggest laziness. go through any forum's stickies and you'll see the same general guidelines on posting questions: search for an answer, search some more, if you can't find an answer after exhausting all possible resources, THEN post. it's common protocol buddy. s***, there's even a thread in the wheels forum here that lists what oem wheels from different cars that will/will not work for nissan lug patterns. but you wouldn't know that.

Just as a clarification depending on the year of STi, the majority are all 5x100. Legacy's and GC8's (older impreza pre 03). For the newer years, 05 and above... they reverted back to 5x114.3 (like mentioned above). ofset it +42 on all of them

i'd rather have "sunken battleship" bbs wheels then played out junk f*** sportmax's.

or worst comes to worst. spend the $400 on the BBS's and get a spacer and upgrade your wheel studs to something longer so your safe.

Yes, I did ask if they would fit a 5 lug pattern, and yes google would have probably answered that, but would google have given me info on offset's? Or given me it's opinion on how they would on a s13? I don't think so, and did you see how that question evolved into peoples opinions on the subject? Maybe that's what I was going for? Sure, I admit, I didn't search as well as I could have, and your right, I didn't know there was a forum on oem wheels, I'd ask if you could give me the link, but then I wouldn't have searched for it myself, but hey, now I know it's on here. Thanks for that.

I'm going over there this weekend and see if they will fit, and maybe play with some of his other suby parts. haha
