In my 17 years of audio installation, I have heard my customers call the deep bass that comes from subwoofers many things. So if you want your car to "pound, bump, slam, hammer, honk, drop, kick, hit and I'm sure many others I just can't remember, then you have clicked on the correct thread. These are the subwoofers I normally stock. So nothing outrageously priced.... just right for the average Joe. The more expensive subs I simply order in for each particular install. So I can order any sub from any subwoofer manufacturer that I carry. That would include any sub from JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Alpine and Boston Acoustic..... whether it be a model, size or impedance different from what I stock. However, when I order, there is a minimum amount that I must meet. So it may take 1-3 weeks to get your specific item into my store...... then up to another week to you. So please keep this in mind when inquiring about product. I usually try to push the product I stock for a couple of reasons: 1)I have it in stock and can get it shipped out to you stat. 2)This is the stuff I sell and install everyday to the average customer, so I am VERY familiar with it and will know what is going to be the best bang for your buck in your particular car. 3)If you have a blown subwoofer, I can simply ship you out a fresh one for warranty. Otherwise you would have to ship me yours and I would then have to ship it to the manufacturer for warranty.

Note: I also stock most JL Audio specific grilles

I would have to go with the JL Audio WX. Be mindful of how much power you run though..... they don't handle a ton of power. I would recommend absolutely no more than a 500 watt RMS mono-block on a pair of them.

lol.... I knew you were going to reply with "some subs".

How many, what size? I can't quote you a price if I don't know what you want.

LoL Toby hates "some subs". His knowledge is legendary and his customer care is endless. Give him a few genres that you listen to and if you want a nice sound or if you want your car to look like it has hydraulics when it doesn't.

1) What do you have now?2) What are you looking for? *More bass, but how much?3) Price range *300

Have fun man, Toby will hook you up good!

Just a heads up. Most rattles from my experience (not much) is from the license plate. You can get some foam tape from your local hardware store and put it on the back before you screw the plate on.

Good luck!

Well, $200-$300 isn't much to work with. You could do an Alpine MRP-M500, JL Audio 10WX and amplifier wiring for $264 shipped. Then you would just need a box for a single 10". I would recommend just getting that local.... shipping gets pricey on a sub box. You could also do the 12" WX for only another $16.

Let me know what you think,

Toby

The 12" will play lower, play louder, handle a little more power, cost more, take a bigger box, won't play quite as tight... I think that's about it.

I do have payment plans! Send me $300 per week and I will send you your product after the first week.

Also, I'm not sure that a single 10" or 12" will satisfy your needs. Only YOU know what will satisfy you. Loud to you might not be loud to me. So it doesn't really matter if you tell me you want it loud or quite etc. I would suggest going to a shop or listening to someone's system that has a single subwoofer setup and see if it "satisfies" you.
