Subwoofers on 2009 Murano, or not?

I just leased an '09 Murano SL with the Premium Package.I chose this package because I really wanted the Bose stereo system.I've had it for almost 2 weeks now, and I really felt that the sound was lacking on the low end of the spectrum.I remembered that the Premium Package should include dual subwoofers.I counted the speakers in the Murano and found 9 of them (as there should be) but no subwoofers.Could it be that Nissan never included the subwoofers in the vehicle, or am I just blind, deaf and dumb and don't know where they are?

Thoughts? Info?Thanks.

The owners manual says that there are two sub woofers. I know that there is one on top of the spare tire but I can't remember where the second one is.

I checked on top, around and below the spare tire.....definitely no subwoofer, much less 2 of them.I know there is supposed to be 2 subs, but it looks like they are just not there.I'll be making a stop by the dealership on my way home from work tomorrow!!

Mine has one in the spare tire. I wasn't aware of a second.

OK, so I have located the one subwoofer in the spare tire.Apparently I'm blind and didn't see this big piece of equipment in the center of the spare tire that says BOSE in great big letters.Give me a break....it was dark out!!!

I'm still confused as to the "dual" subwoofer situation and can't find a second one.Perhaps they mean that this subwoofer in the spare tire contains 2 speakers?I'm still going to go by the dealership and ask.

The subwoofer in the spare tire is a duel box built into 1 assembly, and molded to fit inside of the spare tire. As with most factory subs, they are basically junk and have little to no output. There is no other subwoofer in the 09 MO as far as i'm aware.

That's pretty much the same conclusion I've come to as well.I have decided that I am going to install a separate Infinity subwoofer with an internal powered amp to supplement the sound system in my Murano.

Haven't decided if I'm going to disconnect the factory sub or not.
