I've read about people finding wires for options they didn't buy for their car (fog lights, tweeters, etc.)

My question is: is the wiring for the subwoofer that comes with the premium sound option going to be in my SL? I'm looking to wire a sub in the hatch, but it would be nice to not have to run my own sending line.

Just run heavy gauge power and ground lines yourself, the ones supplied by nissan will not suffice for a high powered aftermarket amplifier. If you need further assistance, I can lead you in the right direction.

I have no problem running the power wire, I was actually hoping the signal wire for the sub was back there somewhere, so I wouldn't have to tap into the lines for the rear speakers.

There may be, but you'll be better off with a new headunit and a pair of RCAs for the signal. You would notice the difference, this is just my opinion.
