Ill tell you this much bro' the altima is one of the most difficult cars Ive worked on in regards to running the power wire inside the car but I did find a way..bad thing is that I had to drill a little hole on a piece of plastic. Heres the info, hope it helps and let me know if you need more info.
1. Remove the glove box compartment -easy. 5 screws from inside and 3 from the bottom rear, then remove two electrical clips on the left hand side of the glove box "One is the trunk opener button" and if you disconnect that wire you wont be able to open your trunk until you connected back again.[IMG][/IMG]
2. Once you remove the glove box you have to locate a fire wall plastic plug on the upper right hand corner, theres two of them, take off the upper one.[IMG][/IMG]
3. Once you take off the plug you'll be able to see somelight coming through and then next step is to open up your hood and drill a small hole for the wire to pass through.
4. With a small drill or anything, drill a small hole (See picture) on the passenger side of the plastic guard[IMG][/IMG]
5. Now you can run the wire through.[IMG][/IMG]
Misc:!!!! just for ref, the stereo remote wire to turn the amps off and on is the purple with yellow wire.[IMG][/IMG]
.. Hope this helps.
