For all you guys that know subwoofers, I'm worried about the surround on mine. On the rubber surround of my solobaric L7, there's a small indentation that you can't see much but you can feel if you rub your finger across it. I feel like the person who had it before me may have rubbed it against something when taking it out of their car or had it running against something.

My questions are: What could have caused this? Should I be worried about this getting worse over time? And could this ruin the subwoofer if it does get worse?

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't worry about it buddy. If it starts to tear and keeps tearing then that would be a problem. Does not look torn at all, the previous owner prob had something up against the sub in the trunk or when storing it @ some point and it just made a flat spot in the rubber. I have had subs that have even had small nicks and tears at a point in the surround and they have held up just fine. Kickers have a pretty hefty rubber, I would expect it to be just fine. there is no way to fix it, so just run it!

As far as I know. Not sure on size or wattage though.
