I removed my subs and amp from my car for a while. When i put them back in i noticed that they dont sound like they used to. They sound hollow and barely put out any sound. What could be the problem? ground? maybe a loose wire? let me know. thanks

First, did you connect the positive/negative wires right? Second, I only ever got a hollow sound when I blew the front off my bass reflex box. The hollow sound was the air escaping as the subs moved. If you changed anything with the box (ie. removed subs) go over everything and make sure they're in there right.

Check over the amp too, make sure all the settings are right and any dials are where they should be. If that still doesn't fix it, then make sure nothing changed with the head unit and its settings.

Maybe some others can come up with any more ideas, its late and my brain is shutting down on me right now.
