Everybody's idea of fun/excitement is different, I know, but I would like opinions anyway. If I take my stock 90 240 w/auto which I've been driving 5 years and go SR13 factory turbo + standard, what do you think my reaction will be the first time I drive it. Will it be "This ain't bad at all", or will it be "I spent thousands on THIS?"

Probly more along the lines of "Damn. I spent a lot of money and work on this, and it's totally worth it." Followed by girlish giggles when you blow off and the occasional "woo woo" when boost hits at WOT.

i dont have a turbo but i do have a 5 speed. i have driven auto and stick and i can say that manual has much better response, acceleration, engine braking and in my opinion, is much more fun to drive. I also like to be in control when i drive and not have a computer telling me when to shift. I think you would like it based on the oppinions of people who have done the swap.

Ive owned both, and I'd agree. Just the 5sp swap makes a 240 much more fun to drive.
