As my post title says, I just recently installed the aluminum rear subframe spacers in my 1992 240SX with over 195K on it. The install was pretty easy, of course, dropping the subframe made me nervous, but I took my time and it worked. All that I can say is WOW!!!!! I took the car out and ran a slalom(don't know how to spell that) on a road that I can usually take at ~45mph. With the Subframe Spacers in, I stopped myself at 85 because I was afraid that if I did get to the limit, it would be painful for me and my car. Body roll= non-existent, just too good to say. If you are considering these, buy them, they are so worth the money and you can help out our sponsors like SPL when you help yourself. Best mod of all time for my money, better than my current suspension setup was when it was done. Sorry for the long post. Buy some and enjoy.

I've been thinking about these as well, glad to see they might actually make a pretty nice difference. I just have alot of wheel hop and want those to help remove some of it, but if they help me handle better then more power to 'em.

Which manufacturer of spacers did you purchase? Where they anodized blue? I have though these might be a good upgrade to the clanking and loose rear end on my S14 too. I’d like to hear some more experiences from these spacers. Are they a short term only solution though, since the factory bushing remains on the sub-frame bolts?

I had mine made, not spacers though. I replaced the entire subframe bushing with a solid chunk of aluminum. Why halfstep?
