subframe removal

ok so i learned i gotta take out the subframe to remove the upper oil pan, ive never done this before but im ready to learn!do i have to have the engine supported? if so could i use a jack to lift engne? (car is up on ramps)how would i go abou the removal, i searched but could not find and the fsm is in japanese . any help?

i appriciate the help but that fsm is weird, i clicked on the s13 sr20 but it dosent seem to be for that engine, it talks about timing belts and it dont really help

do i have to take out suspention'/wheels/ steering rack when removing subframe?

I strongly suggest you just pull or raise the engine. You'll save money because after pulling the sub frame, the steering rack, and whatever else, you will need a front end alignment, another $80.00.
