subframe bushing torn out, do I have to change ?

I just try to put the subframe bushing but i was having a hard time to put the subframe so I only put on the buttom one, would that help anything ??? also I take a look carefully in the bushing i sew it crack ( torn out ) I wounder if the subframe bushing would help or do I have to change the new one ??? the subframe bushing that I have is not alloy, so they are all round like 0, I cut it like " c " for easy to installation would that have any effect ????
