I've had my S14 for about a year and a half now, it's been nothing but trouble but hey, that's what I expected from a 14 year old car. Long story short, my subframe bushings are shot, so the subframe slops around like crazy when I shift, break, accelerate, etc. Obviously this can cause other things to happen, and it has done so, I also now need to replace the rear transmission seal and the front diff seal.

The point then, is that I don't know exactly which route to go with these bushings. NISMO has been discontinued (I confirmed this with west covina nissan, aka thenismoshop.com), Energy Suspension Pineapple bushings are out of stock everywhere (that I have found) and are on backorder until *nobody knows,* since this is a daily driver and ohio roads suck aluminum bushings aren't really an option. The other thing would be to get new oem bushings and fit them with subframe collars.

What do you guys think I should do? I would love to do the Energy or NISMO setup but I cannot find the parts anywhere. Also why should I do one or the other?

Thanks,Lev

My bushings are toast as well.I was going to go with spl aluminum bushings though. The installation seems easier with 2 piece aluminums than the pineapples. But I wont mine the noise or stiffness.

if you're really against the aluminums, just get some oems and be done with it.

personally, spl>pineapples>oem
