Has anyone installed the SPL full aluminum subframe bushings. I know when installing other bushings like on the control arm and such, after you remove the bushings there is a metal ring that also must be removed. Does the same go for the subframe? After the subframe bushing is out is there a metal ring that also must be removed that runs around the circumference of where the bushing goes?

why don't you find out and see. from what i've heard/read you have to cut and sometimes burn out the 4 oem subframe bushings. since the spl bushings are a solid type you wont retain any of the oem bushing.

I already have removed the bushings, now i want to know if there is a metal ring that needs to be cut out just like on the control arms.

No, the metal ring doesn't need to be cut out. Just press in the SPL bushings into the subframe and install them.

Have you installed these yourself?Without cutting out the metal ring it is almost impossible to get the aluminum to squeeze into the hole, considering it doesn't bend and flex like polyurethane.I just spoke with the guys from SPL and they said it has to be cut out.

I thought you mean the inner ring. If you mean the outer ring, which should be removed anyways when pressing out the bushing, yes, those need to be pressed out rather than cut out.
