So ya my sub quit on me yesterday so I pulled it out of the box to find a connector had wiggled off, so i hooked it back up and nothing. Turns out that if you push the speaker back in toward the magnenet, it starts to work but after hitting a few times it stops. Any ideas?

Thanks. I figured that. Now I gotta hold off to replace it b/c my insurance is due soon. It sounds so bad w/o bass in the car LOL. but i'll live. On another note, good recomendations on a bang for the buck subwoofer? I have a 1 12" setup w/ an alpine single channel 350 watt amp. Suggestions on a sub and a cheap place to buy it would be appreciated!

Thanks!

There is also a possibility of a loose tensil (spelling?) from the speaker terminal to the cone. You may be lucky and just need to resolder one or both of them. When you push in the speaker you could also be causing that wire to reconnect. I've seen that happen numerous times. They get worked pretty hard from the constant cone movement and if the solder joint isn't really secure it can come loose.

If you pull the speaker out of the box you could turn it on and just wiggle the tensil wire on the back of the speaker to see if that makes it come on. Could save you from buying another speaker.
