Does anyone know if a sub box for a g35 will fit in the coupe. Hopefully someone with more experience can answer this for me. I tried searching multiple forums, but yeah, NO!

In any case this is what I was looking at...does any one have any suggestions?

the g35 trunk is 3-4 inches deeper than ours. It would be a chance buying it.

pretty much your only choice is a custom box, since no trunk has ever had these dimmensions before, what were u looking to do? what size subs?? and how much money are u looking to spend?

Well I pulled my 2 kicker 10's out of my F150 when I sold it...so I want to make good use of them. I am hopeing that I can find something that will work because in my experience custom boxes always cost more than I am willing to spend. From my measurements the G35 box might just fit...but it would still be a gamble.

Are you serious, three 13"s?! Just one 13W7 will be way more than enough! You're gonna end up deaf

i had this set up in the back seat of my 2000 mustang, i ripped out the back seat and put them in, just now i have to get a new custom box that will angle so all cones are pointing towards the trunk, but its so loud its ridiculous, i just cant wait to hear it in the coupe because i have a feeling it will be ridiculously louder to coil angle

I've had my fair share of bass in previous cars when I was younger. Guess I grew out of it.

As for the enclosure. Like its already been mentioned, the trunks are similar but that box isn't specifically made for the Alty so you would definitely be taking a chance. Very clean looking enclosure though.

I'm running two tens in this box and they sound great.http://www.sonicelectronix.com....html#

Obviously not a "custom" setup but it looks real clean, gives you some trunk space, and once again the bass is very clean. Here's some pics of it in the trunk.....sorry about the blurry second/third one tried to give a pic. of it lit up as it comes with the neon.

2Brian0, do you have the premium package? And if so, how did you integrate the bose with your sound system?

im thinkin about getting 2 8 or 10" shallow mount subs fiberglassed in that small space in the sides of the trunk. Some shallow mounts only require as little as .3 cubic feet of air space. I was quoted 400$ per sub enclosure. Saving up money for a little bit before i go through with it.

Look at my trunks space with a P1L-110! And I still have enough room for the gf back there while my Starbucks sits comfortably in the back seat

an 8" or 10" w7 will take up most of your trunk if not all of it. It requires a large amount of air space.

All,

I am going to try to work with these people in getting them to create a box for the coupe. They are located in Houston so hopefully I can work something out with them.

I would buy a sub box, as long as I know that the subs are easy to install with the tech package. I heard something about having to bypass the bass limiter, and not all the Bose speakers would work if you don't install the subs a certain way...that would make it harder, and less enticing.

I have the bose system and I had my amp installed. I usually do my audio work myself but didn't want to risk anything on my first new car. After seeing what Ultimate electronics did, I could have done it myself. All they did was tap a high/low converter off of my rear speakers. I was under the impression that there was something special you had to do but I guess I was wrong.

That sub box probably wont work unless you want it right at the rear, Im looking into a custom box, and that one on ebay is an inch to high and 7 inches too long, best fit in the trunk of your coupe would be 11" high by 30" wide 17" deepand at the back of the trunk height is 11" for about 14" out, then the height changes to 15".....that would be fitted right in the back of your trunk NICE and SNUG. I took measurements and asked tc customz if they could do somthing up for my coupe, maybe check out their website. They do some nice stuff (fibre glass) custom paint color ect. Ive got two 10" JL w3's and a Jl amp, but Im going to wait it out a little bit. TC Customz does some really nice sub boxs for the 350z you can see pics if you check out their site.blah bla blah bla......good luckhttp://www.tccustomz.com Click on custom work at the bottom of the page

I heard back from these guys and they said it would cost between $90 and $150. I'll let you know what I come up with....
