Okay, so I've got two 12's 500 RMS each and a Lanzar amp. The power ratings are:2 x 600 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms 2 x 1200 Watts Max at 4 Ohms 1 x 2400 Watts Max at 4 Ohms Bridged 2 x 1000 Watts at 2 Ohms RMS I know that these are more than likely not true since the a lot of amps are overrated. But I figured it would do the job for what I was looking for. Now, I have both subs wired into a 2-ohm load separately which I figured they would be getting 1000 watts RMS, roughly. I have an AGU style inline 100 amp fuse and it keeps blowing them. I just cant figure out what the problem is. Is it possible to wire 2 4-ohm DVC subs into a 2-ohm load or am I running like a 1-ohm or what? I drew up a picture of how they are wired so you could better understand what I was talking about.

Now, did I do this right or not? Can someone point me in the right direction?? Btw, I am running a 4 gauge power and ground wire if that helps any.

I'm just having a hard time figuring out your little wiring diagram

So, each sub is a DVC with 4ohm impedance and you are running the coils in parallel for each sub then running that output parallel to the amp? If so then you are running a 1ohm load to the bridged output.

With two DVC 4ohm subs your choices in configuration are 16ohm (all series), 4ohm (each subs coils in series with subs in parallel) or 1 ohm (all coils and subs in parallel)

Yeah, that's the way I had it, but I've unbridged it and it seems to be working fine now. Would this be a 4ohm load with the subs unbridged?

Depends on how you have it setup. Do another picture

uhm....looks like you are only using 1 coil per sub in that configuration. Since the amp is 2ohm stable you can run each channel in 2 ohm and connect like this:

Refer to this tutorial:http://mobile.jlaudio.com/supp...d=161
