SU Carb damper rod

Hi, I am in the process of acquiring a 240z and needed a su carb damper rod, are they the same for all years or different since the 73+ have the flat top SU carb?

Solution: got a set of Free carbs and replaced them now the car runs tons better

I'm pretty sure they are all different, and the 73 carbs suck anyhow, save the drama and find an early roundtop set

I found some MG SU carbs laying at a friends shop, and they are the right length but the top of the damper that screws in was too small so it wouldn't screw in. I found a website that sells them for the flat top 240z su's i might just get that and hope it fits.
