Okey Dokey, i've had CD player problems in the past with my J30 stock Bose unit, but just yesterday the whole freakin unit just turned off on me. I've checked the fuses, and they're all fine, the wiring looks to be ok, i unplugged stuff and replugged stuff but to be honest i don't really know what im looking for. Basically i need to find info. on which wire is my power wire. The unit won't even turn on, but at night it lights up, just no audio power. Anyway, if this sounds familiar or if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

I had similiar issues with mine and sent it to Factory Car Stereo Repair (http://carstereohelp.com) and they were awesome. Reasonable prices and they went above and beyond to fix some issues that came up with my repair. I cannot recommend them highly enough (if you search these boards you will find I am not the only one).

They also have great pics and how to's on removing your stereo, speakers, etc.

Great folks who offer a great service.

Good luck,Gadget

thanks for the advice, i guess im going to have to look into sending it away to fix it. It's reasuring to hear some positive feedback. I defenetly think it's worth the money they charge to fix it, thanks for the reinforcement.

why not replace with a new mp3/cd player. Just get one that looks nice and it wont bother you that much...plus having one cd for all my songs is great.
