On the way back, Acura Integra, Honda Civic, and another VW Jetta.. crazy fast ricers! Summer is here. Ricers are out to party!
Good going, except you didn't come in fifth, you won. Losers race on the streets.LuckyLuke wrote:Me! I learned my lesson years ago, will never drag race on the street.
Maybe ok in your state or your cop friend is wrong. In many states they go by the definition of racing. This can be as simple as simply competing against another car. May be hard to prove in many cases.Poyzinous wrote:The only time I ever take a race is when the street is one of those suburban type 2 or 3 lane wide highways with 50-60mph speed limits. I'll go WOT untill the car shifts into third and then set the cruise at the normal speed. I asked a cop friend of mine. There's nothing illegal about rapid acceleration as long as you dont jump past the speed limit or leave a burnout trail.
If you ever do just go up to the biggest guy there and tell him you are his. That way you don't have to fight everyone between the smallest guy and him.08.black.G37 wrote:Here it is not a ticket...it is jail time. I ain't going to jail. Never been to jail. Since I am not that tall, I learned early to run if necessary, but if possible go toe to toe and then go home to wash off all the blood. The first day of high school a senior screwed with me and I smacked him back before I had a chance to see that this was not a good thing to do. However it turned out that it was a very good thing as I ended up being respected by a group which included some very easy to look at members. Being a short sophmore came in handy during the slow danceswith the tall senior girlsl.uncbeers wrote:
