Stupid question, what does S13 mean?

I was looking at HID lights and found some information which was for only the S13 240SX. I just purchased a 1993 240SX. What does the S13 mean or what does it stand for? Please bring up to speed. I know it a dumb question but just getting started here. Thanks

could be just the series number Nissan Silvia Series 13?

i believe the S stands for or is derived from silvia

after the original CSP311 silvia, the modern s-chassis started with the S10, followed by S110 (not S11), S12, S13, S14, and S15so S13 is the 4th gen S-chassis
