Thats what i thought, the reason i ask is that i am trying to get a stripped spark plug out. I bought a rebuilt KA and the guy before me used the wrong sized plugs, not allowing any clearance to fit a socket in. Not sure what im gonna do yet, but any suggestions will be appreciated, I know i can just pull the head and drill and heli-coil it , but has anyone pulled the head off a KA? its kinda a pain and i would like to avoid that.

hm... does the DOHC bolt onto the SOHC... hm... the more I think about it, I think I know the answer... Nope. Too bad, it would be nice, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Would be nice though.

I wish you guys could of been there when we took apart my blown KA, i have a couple of honda-boy friends that were very impressed with the dual valve springs and beefy block on my 240.

Damn we redid the KA in my 240 about 3-4months ago. Mine blew #1 rod bering. The head is easy to get off if you just take the intake and all with it. Im rebuilding a 71 BigBlock 402 for my truck right now. One head for that damn thing weighs as much as the entire KA block/crank/pistions put to gether. Damn those pushro Chevys. It bent 2 intake pushrods so we just took the whole damn mess out and rebuilt it all. Next project Auto-to-Stick on the 240SX.
