You can't just remove the resistor box, but if you use the FSM you could figure out how to eliminate it. Basically there are 5 wires. 1 is 12v+ and the other 4 go to the injectors. You'll need to connect all 4 wires to the 1 wire. Then you could install the injectors.
Even with all of that done, I seriously doubt it will run right. There are parameters programmed into the ECU that correct for injector latency. The injector latency for high impedance and low impedance injectors are different. In fact, the injector latency can vary greatly from individual injectors if they are a low quality, un-matched set.
My bet is that you would also have to chip the ECU and correct the injector latency (also called injector blast off time IIRC) to get it to run correctly.
