Stupid Question - M35 or M35x?

Hello, NICO neophyte here.

We just purchased an M35 demo for my wife and love it. I've actually had the pleasure to drive it from the street to the garage.

I've got a question. The deck lid says "M35", but all of the paperwork when we bought it shows the car as an "M35x".

I know the M35x model is AWD, but how else can you tell visually?

I'm mostly concerned if insurance is going to be more expensive on the AWD than the RWD model.

well, you can crawl under the front of the car and see if you can see the front transfer case... or you can look at your center console just behind the transmission selector (in a row of switches with your seat warmer/cooler) and see if you have a "Snow" switch. If you have a "Snow" switch, then you have an M35x.

Better yet why not call Infiniti corporate and give a tech your vin number. They'll give you an accurate history on your new purchase.
