stupid question concerning the E/DE thing

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

can you physically bolt a DE head onto a E block? I mean, are the headbolts and bore centers still the same? does it all line up?just thinkin of a dumb cusom project...

thanks, all I needed. no frankenstein DOHC for the L28 in my Z, damn, gonna have to stick to the KAE thing, oh well, 18 valves crossflow is better than 12 valve side flow, but not as good as 24 valve crossflow. c'est le vie!
