Stupid Question but...

I have a hop in one rear tire.

I jacked the car up while in "N" with the wheels blocked and the engine running. When the wheel came off the ground they started spinning. Not fast but enough for me to verify the Hop I am feeling

Isn't the neutral position supposed to be disengaged?

Am I in for some trouble?

Just curious, never actually did this so not sure what to expect.

BTW, I was able to stop the wheel by hand very easily

even in neutral there's probably still enough friction in the transmission to move the rear wheels when under zero load.

thnaks, never had a rear drive car and never had the car running when up before. With all the headaches I hear about these transmission, I was just making sure
