Stupid Question!!! But I Really Dont Know!

Ok I have a 03 G35 Coupe and On My Headlight On The Side Of the Bulbs Is That Little strip with the light on it. Mine went out on the pass side, does anyone know what it is called or what size bulb does it take and how do you get to it? Lose the attitude and you might get more responses. People do have jobs you know.....its not like we all just sit around and wait for the next post to pop up so we can respond! Well maybe some do.

Anyway, did you ever stop to think that maybe people viewed your post to see what your issue was and perhaps they didn't respond because they don't specifically know what one of the 3,000 bolts on a G35 is for.

I will reply for you. I have no idea what it is. Maybe take 5 minutes and stop by a dealer and ask them. Just a thought.

This may be what you are talking about. The side marker light. The bulb retails for about 50 cents.

I'm not totally sure I understand what you are after, but this is the little strip that is visible from the side of the car. You might check with Infiniti and verify it is the side marker light we are talking about here.

the easiest way to replace it is underneath the wheel well... take off your tire so you have more space, then remove a couple of clips, then remove the plastic cover and you can go from there... or you can just turn your wheel to the inside (depending on what side your working on ), remove clips, open up the plastic cover and reach in... fairly easy diy...

I think it is actually called a clearance light. You can use either a 168 or 194 bulb. You access it from within the fender liner. Remove one or two screws and a couple of push pins.

I replaced mine with an AMBER LED to better match the side marker lights.
