I'm looking at buying another 4th gen. Preferably a 99 5spd.

I have heard that the VSLD 5spd only came in the I30 touring edition. Is that true?

If so, would it be a problem to do a VSLD transmission swap into a 5spd non-touring?

If anybody has any suggestions on a different car to buy around the same price range, I'm open to suggestions.

I want something diehard reliable, that I can do some minor racing in, that can seat at least 4 people and doesn't rape me anymore than my 96 does.
