Will the rb20 run without a knock sensor?

It would start fine, but may run the safer knock fuel/ign maps = crap power.

Interesting question. The maps don't retard until knock is sensed so if you disconnected it and reset the computer I don't see why it would not work unless the computer has a lonely code it throws when it's can't get IMs from the knock sensor. Incidently, why do want to run without it?

Dam! First it was airbags, then HIDs, now knock sensors! Will this rash of OEM Nissan parts theft never end?

I can go to a junkyard and hack off that portion of the harness for you if you want.
