Off boost, gas usage should be on par with your KA. If you have a heavy right foot (and you will with a turbo SR ) then the gas usage goes up exponentialy. Combined with having to run premium, gas is a legit cost concern.

I refuel every ~2 weeks, and at a cost of $2.09 here in Tejas for 93, it gets pricey. Usually $30.

got better gas milage i think thats just because the ka condition wasnt too great

srs displacement is a little smaller and if you shift before boost spools really high then it shouldnt be too bad.

This brings up some interesting Questions to me...Japan runs 102 octane and I'm sure your JDM ECU (when you run SR's and RB's and CA's of course) is configured for that, along with a higher elevation all plays an important factor in performance. Us being the Cheap @ss's that we are only have common access to 93 octane. So when you run your JDM ECU it will definately have to be tuned properly to get the JDM specs...Right? Someone want tackle this issue. I've been wondering about this for quite a while now. Sorry for the thread Hijack.
