OK Sparkies! I need some suggestions as to why my power door locks STOPPED working...

When i bought my car (it's a '91 s13 Hicas Hatchback) it came with a s*** remote start / locks on my key chain and under the steering wheel was a bunch of s*** half a** wired in like a module and shock sensor etc

I never used it at all, the remote had no batteries and i just forgot about it after i bought it, so
when my motor was out i removed every thing and all the wiring, i remember there being a power wire with a small fuse coming from the IGN (i think) into the drivers side kick panel somewhere.... and i also remember removing a relay to... but anyway

everything works fine.... except my door locks.
before i cut the module out, my door locks would both lock when i locked it using the inside latch, and also unlock both witht he key as well too ( i think)

but now using the key, or latch only locks the one side.
If i am workin on my car i usually disconnect the NEGATIVE battery terminal...but now, when i re-connect it, both doors automatically lock themselves simultaneously every single time the battery lead is re-connectted.... weird? i think so!

and i noticed tonight that if i lock/unlock the passenger door inside latch, there is a "CLICK" heard from the door lock timer in the passenger kick panel, and when i play with that passenger side latch locking/unlocking it quickly, there is some resistance felt at times .... what i mean is there is power lock interference when i flip it locked/unlocked quickly...if that makes sense to any of you

Basically I've looked over the door harnesses and it looks good.... the drivers side kick panel has two looms from the door that go into their respective chassis harness plugs and im f*** stumped.... i know its gotta be a straight up easy fix however i cant figure this out using the FSM as from what i can understand, all is factory...

HELP! cheers
