stupid plactic bolt

the plastic bolt on my iacv striped out on me today any one know if there is any way to fix it or do i need to buy a new one

sr20's have a plastic iacv bolt? ouch.... yea your gonna need a new iacv or try takin it out and apart and runnin down to the store and getting a metal bolt that is a match with the plastic one so you'll never strip it again.

**** this sucks the damn thing striped out on me when i went to adjust it down and i truned it a tiny bit and the bolt just went al the way down on me and now it just spins im pissed

i thought it sounded like you stripped the head of it... now it sounds like you stripped the thread that the bolt goes into...yea just get a used one from someone on nico...shouldn't be much..maybe 10-30 bucks i'm guessing

ya i dono how the they striped out tho kinda weird like i noticed the head was starting to wear out but i fixed that by just using something the fit in the screw driver slot better then the flat head screw drive just so i dont strip it out but i guess the threds stiped out insted wicked gay but ya i was looking on web sites and a new one was going from 199 to 250ish depending on the site it sucks
