stupid pinstripe

anyone know how i can get rid of that stupid pinstripe on my '91?also that nasty balck molding that runs all the way across the car.. any suggestions on that too?

i'de say try the same thing but to fill in the space will require some body filler, sand paper, and paint.

it peels fine off of the metal, but it's a female dog to get off the fiberglass. i used goo gone and my thumbnail, then wiped it up with a towel. damn my thumb under my nail hurt for like 3 days

Just peel it off on a nice warm day. use a little rubbing compound to get the residue.

Yo, also use tar remover to get the glue residue, be careful on the bumpers......

I took that black stripe off with a heat gun. Worked like a dream, at least until i got to the bumpers. Just heat it up a bit and then it should peel off fairly easily. Hardly any residue is left afterwards, except on the bumpers.

well im getting the bumpers repainted anyways so i don't think that should be a problem
