Glad you're OK man. I tell you, this accident only bring me to a solid stand point in my conclusion from my accident: women SHOULDN'T drive.

I have been in, or at the scene of, at least 5 accidents involving women running read lights or stop signs. Every time the response is something not far from "oops" and it has usually involved in applying some form cosmetics, or more recently, texting.

Sorry about your car. Glad youre alright. Looks like the impact was on the passenger side. Maybe thats why the driver baf didnt deploy.
The point of contact, from what I can tell, was more on the driver's side of the front. There is a very clear impression on the front bumper of the wheels from the jeep. I'll see if I can get a good pic of it tomorrow. The best I can guess was there was either a malfunction, or the point of contact wasn't just right for the sensor.

That's funny you should say that. I had contacted the police station today to see what they had compiled so far about the accident (they said the full report will be available on Wednesday) and they said that she was texting at the time of the accident, and when she hit me, she had her face glued to the phone.

you did go to the hospital RIGHT!!!!

i hope so because if you didnt and go back later on you will not be able to link and injuries precceding this back to this crash and thus being able to sue her

im a FF and have seen ALOT of crazy stuff in my year and a half

my best advice is get checked from head to toe immediately you may not hurt now but the visit saves you tons in the end

I hate red light runners... they are an epidemic (along with drunk drivers) here in Albuquerque. I've seen a string of 4-5 vehicle sometimes go through a light, nose to tail. My commute is all city, so I see them every day. I told my kids, as they are learning to drive that I can forgive a speeding ticket... to a degree... but there would be serious punishments for red lights. They listened well.

Sorry that this happened to you, but glad you were in a Volvo when it did. Good luck with the claim, et al.
